Imagine if one of your key employees, who knows your clients, pricing, marketing strategies, technology, and trade secrets, decides to leave your business and take your best clients with him/her. Yes, this happens. Yes, you can prevent it from happening. I know. I’ve lived through this. Have you? A business must trust its employees and be careful at the same time. Employees — especially today — leave a business and go to another business to advance their careers and make more money. So it is not "if" an employee will leave your business; it's just "when." And, when that happens, you do not want to lose your valuable assets. When people marry, they sometimes sign a prenuptial agreement, just in case. You've worked and invested so much in your business that a strong "Air-Tight" employee agreement to protect your business makes sense. So many businesses do not have these types of agreements.
